Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer with greeting and setup/teardown?

Volunteering on our greeting team gives you an opportunity to meet people as they enter or exit a service. You are the first and last people they see at a service and you never know the impact that a simple smile or greeting can make. Not only will you greet them at the door,  but you will be tasked with things like: helping them get plugged in at our 411 table, showing them how to check their kids in to children's ministry, or answering questions like "Where's the restroom?" or "What other services do you have this week?"

As part of our setup/teardown team, it's your job to make sure that from the lobby, to the chairs, to the stage and production equipment, and  everything in between, every service is ready to go.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Volunteering with our children's ministry team is the perfect opportunity to share the message of Jesus with the next generation. Whether taking care of babies in the nursery so their parents have a chance to hear the message, playing games and teaching the Bible to toddlers in a way they can understand, or teaching our elementary students how they can live like Jesus, the blessing of pouring into the children at Refuge Ranch is just around the corner.

How do I volunteer with  worship or production?

Volunteering with our worship team gives you the chance to combine  your talents of  singing  and/or playing an instrument with the opportunity to lead people into God's presence. Being part of our worship team does require an audition process prior to serving. You can find out more about that HERE.

As part of our production team, you will have the opportunity to both learn new skills and/or put your current skills to use in many ways. From video cameras to photography, lights & sound to on-screen visuals, even online broadcasting, the opportunities and skills cover a wide range, and there's a place for everyone.

How do I volunteer with middle school & high school students?

Volunteering with our middle school and high school students provides an opportunity to help this next generation of older children, teens & young adults apply the Bible to their everyday lives. Through worship, fellowship & small group Bible study, our MSM (middle school) & Student (high school) Ministries aim to help our students live out the Gospel, find accountability, and grow deeper in their foundation on the word of God as they navigate school, friendships, and extracurricular activities.
